Goin' Medieval:
This paint technique isn't so much medieval, it was suggested to me a few months ago when a buyer looked at a few pieces in this finish, and she replied... "it looks medieval or something... but I do like them".  So, its adopted full description is "don't make me get medieval" or "goin' medieval".  It started out as an attempt to replicate an "antiqued bronze finish" on wood pieces.  The top piece is a CD cabinet with trim and stuff to look more or less like a city row home, it is roughly 42 inches tall by 12 inches wide with 6 fixed shelves designed to hold up 125 CD's.  Pieces below are currently available through the Pearl Gallery, Baltimore Maryland.  Your questions and comments welcome, Rick Santiago
